Lüneburg / Hannover, 01.03.2011 - Pretioso is once again present at the world’s leading fair for IT in Hannover from 1st March until 5th March 2011. The Pretioso-stand is located in hall 6 KO2.

At the CeBIT 2011 Pretioso introduces two brand-new products, which will further drive the success of the datomo Mobility Suite.

With datomo Secure Call Pretioso adds Adeya’s groundbreaking solution for secure phone calls to datomo’s Mobility Suite. datomo Secure Call enables the user to avail of encrypted communication including encrypted telephony worldwide. This solution encrypts all communication (voice, e-mail, calendar, addresses) on the end device and securely transfers data to the user’s gateway, where the data is decrypted. One positive side effect is that datomo Secure Call is technologically a VoIP client, which enables the user to reduce the costs of the mobile provider to zero (using WLAN) or to a minimum when using data cards. “The extremely high compression of voice telephony enables the user to make phone calls for just 11 cent per minute while in Japan” explains Christian Wilke of Pretioso.

Pretioso examined the market for providers of voice encryption very closely to ascertain if collaboration with a partner or alternatively a self-development would be more practical. “It became clear to us very quickly that a self-development would only make sense if a partnership with Adeya wasn’t possible,” explains Klaus Düll. “Their solution is, compared with others that we explored, not only technologically superior, it also provides the unique advantage of being developed by a Swiss company according to Swiss security standards, which ensures protection against state interventions.”

The second novelty on the CeBIT 2011 is the launch of datomo’s completely re-designed leading product datomo Mobile Forms 2.0. datomo Mobile Forms has been developed as a core product of datomo’s Mobility Suite and is carrier of the core components of the datomo Connector Repository. The new architecture offers the advantage of an advanced integration of datomo Mobility Suite’s single components and easier integration scenarios in SAP and Oracle environments. “The performance has been improved drastically,” says Ingo Czarnowski, responsible for quality assurance of datomo Mobile Forms. “A number of issues that previously resulted in considerable expenditure as a result of customizing issues that can now be handled by the customer’s own trained staff.”

Along with the new development of datomo Mobile Forms 2.0 there are a number of minor adjustments and improvements of other products under the datomo Mobility Suite banner, which are all exhibited at the stand. For instance the foundation for mobile applications datomo Device Management is continuously updated in order to keep up with the ever increasing heterogeneity of mobile devices.

Once again Pretioso dedicates this year’s trade fair presence to datomo Mobility Suite, which has been implemented in many companies over the past year and also presents well known and established product lines such as datomo Mobile Forms, datomo Device Management, datomo Mobile Integration, datomo One Number, datomo Mobile Dictate, datomo Mobile Scan, datomo Mobile Print, datomo Mobile CRM and datomo Mobile ERP. All major requirements of mobile employees can be integrated and mapped with these applications. They follow datomo’s philosophy to connect every smartphone - from iPhone to BlackBerry - to every data base for every process.
