Secure password assignment for employees in the field

Companies make increasingly greater demands on company security and data protection. In particular employees in the field increasingly have to get hold of company data while away on business. For this task a simple password /password authentication is often not sufficient with regard to IT-security requirements. Until recently employees in the field have usually been provided with security tokens, a technology which on the one hand, involves greater hardware costs, whilst leaving a security risk.
