datomo® Mobile Dictate is modern dictation software with which the user receives a flexible and reliable dictation solution that is user-friendly, and which helps to optimize the work routine as well as saving costs. There is no need to invest in separate dictation devices. Unlike other standard dictation systems, this solution allows virtually unlimited expansion via modern telephones. Furthermore, employees located in different branches can be connected with each other in a cost-effective way and linked to already existing digital dictation systems or infrastructures. Many performance features are standardized in the dictation solution, additional functions and modules are also available.
datomo® Mobile Dictate System
The datomo® Mobile Dictate application is a client and web-server application for mobile dictation which includes software for the web-server, telephones, speech recognition and playback function to which typists can be connected (Integration of external systems). The web-server can be either installed directly onto the Windows Server or operated virtually. The mobile dictation solution is compatible with the current Smartphones BlackBerry®, Nokia E, Android and iPhone.
Processing of dictated text
The extensive processing of dictation occurs via the mouse or keypad of the phone, whereby the key assignment is controlled in the usual standardized way from the number pad of the Smartphone. The convenient dictation processing tool includes a recording and playback function, a forward and rewind function, the function of inserting text markings as well as the option of ‘delete’ and ‘insert’. The dictated text is subsequently saved in AMR-format and due to its lower data volume, it quickly and efficiently transmits the text.

The modern dictation solution can be used on current Smartphones such as BlackBerry®, Nokia E, Android and iphone. datomo® Mobile Dictate is available in two versions:
datomo® Mobile Dictate Advanced is a mobile dictation solution for small businesses. The dictation transmission here occurs via email.
datomo® Mobile Dictate Enterprise is a universal mobile dictation solution for larger businesses, medical practices and law firms which can be either installed as a local configuration (on your IT system/devices) or used when connected to a web-server. The high-performance components in detail are as follows:
- Controlled dictation transmission via email, alternatively BES, BIS, Direct TCP or WLAN
- KIS-system connection (Dictation transfer to external systems)
- AES / DES-encryption ensures a secure transmission of the dictated text
- Allows remote configuration
- Automatic speech recognition and immediate sending of texts via email to the editor for review

datomo® Mobile Dictate Web Server
The datomo® Mobile Dictate Web Server is a modular license package with a dictation server as the basic module which ensures the automatic data import of dictations to the typists. In addition/moreover, the basic server allocates the dictations to the respective typists (Pool/Poolscripts) and makes the AMR-WAV conversions.
The basic module can be extended with additional modules such as central client or user administration via the Active Directory connection, an interface to external suppliers as well as KIS-connection.

datomo® Mobile Dictate expands smartphone options by adding the function of a professional dictaphone. datomo® Mobile Dictate is a flexible, modern client and web server dictation solution that is user-friendly and ensures reliable data transfer. The automatic data import and the integration of the existing infrastructure enable the processing of dictation in real-time. This simplifies the recording and processing of dictations on the smartphone, e.g. for medical practices, law firms, hospitals or insurance companies.
The low data volume of this application ensures low mobile phone costs. The data export and integration into internal Backoffice Solutions and CIS/HIS-Systems run smoothly.
